The Hennie's Tattoo Loyalty Programme ("Programme"), brought to you by Hennie's, is offered subject to the terms and conditions set out below. Your participation in the Programme constitutes your agreement to abide by these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to disqualify you from the Programme if you do not adhere to them.
Any patron who bears a legitimate, permanent Hennie's-branded tattoo and presents it to a manager at any Hennie's branch will receive one (1) complimentary drink per visit, subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

Hennie's may from time to time publish qualifying design criteria and/or examples of acceptable tattoos on its website (www.therealhennies.co.za) or as part of these terms and conditions (see below). Where such criteria or examples are published, they will be taken into account during verification.
2.3. Only the person bearing the tattoo may claim the complimentary drink. You may not claim a complimentary drink on behalf of another person, even if that person bears a Hennie's tattoo.
2.4. The tattoo must be fully healed, clearly visible without obstruction, and capable of being readily inspected by a manager at the time of the visit. Hennie's may decline to verify, or may defer verification of, any tattoo that is not fully healed, is not clearly visible, or cannot reasonably be verified at the time it is presented.
2.5. The decision of the relevant Hennie's manager as to whether a tattoo satisfies the requirements of this clause 2 is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of that decision.
2.6. This Programme is only open to participants who are 18 years of age or older. By participating, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. Hennie's may request valid identification confirming your age before honouring any claim under this Programme. Hennie's does not encourage, endorse, recommend, or take any responsibility for any person obtaining a tattoo, whether for purposes of this Programme or otherwise; obtaining a tattoo is a personal decision made entirely at that person's own discretion, cost, and risk, and remains subject to applicable law.
3.1. These terms and conditions apply to all claims made on or after 1 July 2026.
3.2. Hennie's acknowledges that certain patrons may have previously received complimentary drinks under arrangements prior to the formalisation of this Programme. Such prior conduct does not constitute a binding commitment by Hennie's and does not confer any ongoing entitlement to benefits under this Programme.
3.3. Any person whose tattoo was previously recognised by Hennie's, but whose tattoo does not satisfy the requirements of clause 2 of these terms and conditions, is invited to present their tattoo for re-verification at any participating branch. Hennie's will consider such submissions in good faith and may, at its sole discretion, recognise a previously approved tattoo notwithstanding any non-compliance with clause 2.
3.4. Hennie's reserves the right to decline any claim from a previously recognised tattoo holder whose tattoo it determines, in good faith, does not meet the standards of this Programme.
4.1. You may select one (1) complimentary single-serve drink appearing on the current Hennie's drinks menu, from the following categories:

5.2. Hennie's may publish or display a designated list of qualifying items at its branches and/or on its website.
6.1. To claim your complimentary drink, you must:
6.2. The complimentary drink must be claimed and consumed during the same visit as your paid order. The benefit may not be deferred, accumulated, or saved for a future visit.
6.3. The benefit is limited to one (1) complimentary drink per visit, regardless of the length of that visit.
6.4. No cash alternative, credit, refund, or substitution is available for the complimentary drink.
6.5. For purposes of this Programme, a "visit" means a single, continuous period of attendance at a Hennie's branch, ending when the participant leaves that branch. The benefit may be claimed no more than once per participant per calendar day, regardless of how many times that participant enters and exits a branch, or visits more than one branch, on that day.
6.6. The benefit under this Programme may not be used in conjunction with any other discount, voucher, special, loyalty reward (including any reward under the Hennie's App), or promotional offer, unless Hennie's expressly states otherwise
7.1. We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate this Programme at any time, without prior notice, for any reason.
7.2. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, at our sole discretion. Amended terms will be published on our website (www.therealhennies.co.za) and/or announced on our official social media channels (@therealhennies). Your continued participation after such amendments constitutes your acceptance of the amended terms.
7.3. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, regardless of the branch at which the Programme is accessed or a benefit is claimed.
7.4. This Programme may not be available, or may be subject to variation, at every Hennie's branch (including franchised branches), at the discretion of the relevant branch owner or operator. Hennie's reserves the right to limit, vary, or exclude participation by any specific branch at any time.
8.1. Obtaining a tattoo is a permanent, personal decision made entirely at the participant's own discretion, cost, and risk. Hennie's does not provide, recommend, endorse, or have any affiliation with any tattoo artist, tattoo parlour, or tattoo design.
8.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hennie's, its directors, officers, employees, agents, franchisees, and holding, subsidiary, associated, related, and inter-related companies accept no liability for any loss, harm, injury, infection, allergic reaction, scarring, dissatisfaction, or other damage arising from or in connection with any participant obtaining, or attempting to obtain, a tattoo for the purposes of, or in connection with, this Programme.
8.3. Participation in this Programme is entirely voluntary. Nothing in these terms and conditions obliges, encourages, or induces any person to obtain a tattoo, and Hennie's accepts no responsibility for any decision made by a participant to do so.
8.4. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hennie's accepts no liability for any loss, harm, or damage suffered by any participant in connection with their participation in this Programme, except to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
9.1. Hennie's collects participants' personal information in order to administer the Programme. Hennie's will not disclose this information to any third party unless required or permitted to do so by law.
9.2. Participants' personal information may be disclosed, and participants' tattoos and photographs may be published, on Hennie's social media platforms, website, marketing materials, and other promotional channels.
9.3. In accordance with applicable data privacy legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), any request to access, update, or correct your information should be directed to Hennie's Privacy Officer. Participants indemnify Hennie's against any unintentional disclosure of such information to unauthorised persons.
9.4. We may, at any time during or after your participation in the Programme, request your permission to use your image, tattoo photograph, and/or name in our marketing material, or to feature you in our marketing activities (including endorsing, promoting, or advertising the services of Hennie's or any of our subsidiary, holding, associated, related, or inter-related companies).
9.5. By participating in the Programme, you agree to receive further communications and direct marketing material from Hennie's and our holding, subsidiary, associated, related, and inter-related companies. You may opt out of receiving commercial communications at any time via the opt-out mechanisms provided by Hennie's for that purpose.
